Spine of the Construct – Vertebral Node Dildo

Core Definition

Spine of the Construct is a long segmented shaft: a tapered, finely scaled tip above three to four vertebral nodes that widen as they descend, all on a round suction cup. Platinum-cured silicone at Shore 00-08, measuring 5.6 to 8.6 cm across at the widest node.

How It Works

Graduated entry. The tip is narrow and covered in fine scale relief, so the first few centimetres pass with little resistance. From there each node is wider than the one above it, and the recessed neck between nodes lets the sphincter close before the next node arrives. Entry is a sequence of separate steps rather than one continuous stretch.

Node rhythm. Three to four nodes on the shaft mean three to four expansion points on the way in and the same number on the way out. The necks between them register as distinct checkpoints, so depth is counted in nodes instead of estimated. Withdrawal reverses that sequence at the same widths, in the same order.

Curved deep shaft. The shaft carries an S-curve rather than running straight, so it tracks the natural bend of the canal and loads one wall at a time as the angle shifts. Insertable length runs 21 cm on S to 33 cm on L, and the Shore 00-08 silicone holds that curve instead of collapsing under load.

Who It's For

S, at 5.6 cm across and 21 cm insertable, is for users with existing experience of beaded or nodal shafts. M and L add girth and a further 6 to 12 cm of depth, and assume established depth training. None of the three is a first dildo, and firm silicone gives no cushion at the widest node, so work up in stages with generous water-based lubricant.

Care & Safety

Molded from 100% platinum-cured silicone: non-porous, phthalate-free and heat-stable. Wash with warm water and mild soap, or a dedicated toy cleaner, before and after every use; boil for two to three minutes for full sanitization. Use water-based lubricant only, as silicone lubricant attacks the surface. Dry completely, then store flat and away from other silicone items. Stop use if you feel pain, use a barrier when sharing, and keep away from anyone under 18.
